Glo's World   Diana Ross Comes to Gunwharf on 17th March! Although it’s only February, I wanted to remind you about an upcoming event in March that is close to my heart.  I am donating my time to perform as Diana Ross at a special fundraiser in aid of the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation (DRWF). Many of my family including both parents and 4 of my remaining siblings have been diagnosed with this common condition, so it’s always on my radar. That’s why I decided to reach out to this local charity and offer my services. There are more than 4 million people in the UK who live with Diabetes, so it’s likely that you will have a close friend or family member who is affected by this condition too. The Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation provide valuable information and support to help these people self-manage their condition and are instrumental in funding much-needed research into Diabetes, both in the UK and around the world. It’s going to be a fabulous night, full of your favourite Motown Hits, so I urge you to visit the DRWF site and book your tickets NOW! Book NOW on Eventbrite Elvis Lives! 2017 marks the 40th anniversary of the King’s passing, and you can bet your bottom dollar that there is going to be a surge in demand for all things Elvis this year. Elvis died on 16th August 1977, yet his popularity is enduring.  His unmistakable looks, voice and moves have made him universally popular, and the public’s love affair with Elvis Aaron Presley remains as high now as it was in his heyday. I would recommend that you have at least one Elvis Tribute event in your event programme this year!
