Week in Review - 31 May 2015

Glo's Music for the Soul has officially launched on ExpressFM and is a weekly show covering an electric mix of genres including Soul, Jazz, Blues, Funk & much more. The first show aired on 10 May at 10:00pm and each week in addition to playing great music, I will showcase an unsigned Act, play a listener's choice track, and give listeners a chance to get their Sunday night boogie on with my 'Shake It, Don't Break It' dance break song!

You can catch the show live on the radio at 93.7 or online at ExpressFM.com. As soon as my archive page is setup, I will link you so that you can hear past shows.

Last week was my first full week back in the office in a while and there was much catching up to do. On Wednesday I had rehearsal with my original band, Mayfield, as we prepare for a show on 5 June at the Lake Yard Club in Poole. This is our second time performing at the venue and they are quite receptive to our original music. We will of course throw in a few 'covers,' but done the Mayfield way!

On Friday I was back at Mayfield Academy providing private vocal coaching, and I absolutely love working with emerging artists and helping them get a bit closer to their dreams. I am currently accepting new students, so if you or someone you know would like singing lessons, please get in touch at 07504 611173 to schedule a free consultation.

On Saturday I was Mayfield Studio working on the title track for the second Mayfield album, 'Keep On.' Our current release, Tempo Of Your Soul, is available here!
